Mexican Flower Kit (Mouliné Yarn)

A set of beautiful exotic flowers that you can put together however you want. You can use one. Or all of them. You can place them in the middle, asymmetrically, or exactly where needed. There are no rules. Just choices. Vibeke used this set to save her favorite jacket. Two holes in the back – and instead of throwing it away, she embroidered. Not to hide. But to transform. Now the jacket is even prettier than before. Last but not least! Here you have yarn to save many garments!

About the embroidery: Everything is embroidered with a single stitch: the backstitch. First the outlines, then the fill. Dense fill stitches, layer upon layer. Follow the shape, follow the curves, and let the stitches bring the design to life. Long, short, close together. It doesn't have to be perfect – just real.
