An easy-knit raglan sweater with embroidery of a charming rabbit. The sweater is knitted from the bottom up, and has pearl knit as a rib . Knitted in Cashmere Merino Bloom from Purl Soho but with a knitting tension of 22 stitches stockinette stitch on 10 cm, many alternative yarns can be used, for example Arwetta and Tilia (together) from Filcolana. Pattern is available in English.

About the embroideries:

The motif is embroidered with only one type of stitch, the backstitch. Follow the drawings in the pattern. We first embroider the outline around the figures, then we fill in the inside with colors (fill stitches). The fill stitches should be as dense as possible to avoid the background color showing through. They can overlap each other to advantage. It is nice to vary the length of these stitches. NB! The expression will be most beautiful if you let the stitches follow the curves of the figures.

It is up to you whether you want to buy the embroidery thread we have used, or whether you want to use leftover yarn that you already have. NB! Remember that if you use leftover yarn, you must be sure that the yarn you embroider with is made of the same material as the yarn you knit the vest with. We therefore recommend embroidering a little on a sample patch and test washing it, if you are unsure about the yarn choice. Different quality of yarn can cause the garment to be damaged in the wash.
