Santa Claus Christmas Stocking Kit

Christmas stocking with embroidery of Santa Claus himself! Super cozy to hang on the fireplace for Christmas and can be used year after year. You choose which color combination you want on the stocking itself. Included in this kit are 5 colors of Eco Vita embroidery thread in wool, Peruvian yarn for the stocking, a piece of water-soluble non-woven fabric and the knitting pattern and embroidery pattern in paper form. About the embroidery:

The motif is embroidered with only one type of stitch, the backstitch. Follow the drawings in the pattern. We first embroider the outline around the figures, then we fill in the inside with colors (fill stitches). The fill stitches should be as dense as possible to avoid the background color shining through. They can be advantageously overlapped. It is nice to vary the length of these stitches. NB! The expression will be most beautiful if you let the stitches follow the curves of the figures. This is to bring the figure to life. Use lots of stitches, both small and large.

Equipment list of what you need in addition to embroidery skills:

• Pointed needle
• Gray pencil
• Embroidery hoop with a diameter of 12 cm (you can find it here!)

Embroidery thread: We have chosen to use Eco Vita (DMC) wool thread for this collection. Eco Vita embroidery thread is dyed with natural ingredients such as walnut, rhubarb, indigo and juniper. The result is a beautiful and earthy color palette. The thread glides easily when you embroider, and it fills nicely.
