Knitting and Embroidery kit: Buddy

The yarn package contains the pattern, yarn for the sweater, 6 colors of Eco Vita embroidery yarn and a suitable piece of water-soluble fleece. The sweater is knitted from the bottom up, and has moss stitch as a purl border. NB! The yarn package contains alternative yarns, Arwetta and Tilia, to what is in the pattern (originally knitted in Cashmere Merino Bloom from Purl Soho) . Pattern is available in English.

About the embroideries:

The motif is embroidered with only one type of stitch, the backstitch. Follow the drawings in the pattern. We first embroider the outline around the figures, then we fill in the inside with colors (fill stitches). The fill stitches should be as dense as possible to avoid the background color showing through. They can be advantageously overlapped. It is good to vary the length of these stitches.

NB! The look will be most beautiful if you let the stitches follow the curves of the shapes.

22 stitches stockinette stitch on 4 mm needles = 10 cm
