Knitting kit: Tic-Tac-Toe (Women)

In the knitting package you will receive both the pattern and all the yarn you need for the size you want – as long as you stick to the stated measurements and knitting tension. Everything is carefully adapted to make it easy and fun to get started! Tic-Tac-Toe has a playful and exciting pattern that is easy and fun to knit. The sweater is knitted in Kos from Sandnes Garn, which makes it soft and good. The body is knitted from the bottom up, while the sleeves are knitted from the top down. The shoulder stitches are sewn together with a stitch stitch that gives an "invisible" seam that looks knitted. The neck can be folded inwards and sewn on the wrong side if you want a lower neck.

The colors in the knitting package are: 1012 Natural (base color) and 3132 Beige (pattern color) (like the lightest sweater in the pictures above)

The measurements given are not body measurements but measurements of the finished knitted sweater if the correct knitting tension is adhered to. The sizes are indicative. The sweater has good range of motion.

Knitting strength:

20 stitches knitted pattern on needle 5 ½ mm = 10 cm

Guiding pins:

Circular needle: 4 ½ and 5 ½ mm

Double pointed needles: 4 ½ mm. On the smallest sizes you will also need 5 ½ mm.

Sample note:

Yes - it's boring! BUT since the sweater is knitted with two colors in the pattern/structure, most of us knit tighter than we do with stockinette stitch. It is therefore extra important to ensure that the sweater gets the correct measurements. It is more boring to end up with a sweater that doesn't fit :) Find out how many stitches you have in 10 cm of pattern knitting. If you have more stitches than what is stated in the pattern, you need to change to thicker needles, and vice versa.

Beige and white sweater: 1012 Natural (base color) and 3132 Beige (pattern color). As in the knitting package!

Green and white sweater: 2310 Marzipan (base color) and 8512 Light Pistachio Ice (pattern color)

A small but important tip: The sweater will look its best if the lightest color is used as the main color. The pattern will stand out much better then.

Remember that if you choose a different yarn, it is important that you check the running length and be aware that the sweater/structure may have a different look.
